January 7, 2012 Welcome to 2012. The new photos are of the Yellow Swans from when they played at Soundlab in Buffalo on a tour in the fall of 2007. The band was Pete Swanson on vocals and electronics and Gabriel Mindel Saloman on guitar and electronics. They broke up in 2008 after gracing us with a bunch of great swirling ambient psychedelic noise jams. December 5, 2011 I've got a 'zine of drawings in a group art show in Brooklyn at the Botanic Gallery. It opens on Friday and runs until December 26th. Details are to the right. November 4, 2011 The new batch of pictures are of Slutever. They are two ladies from Philadelphia who play some skuzzy punk rock tunes. They were at Sugar City in Buffalo this past August and it was a very enjoyable show. September 5, 2011 Happy Labor Day. It's time for a new set of photos. These are more of me messing around with my camera at night using the aperture mode and a low ISO. At least one of the photos had some lighting help from an incoming thunderstorm. July 2, 2011 Happy Canada Day. (A day late.) Happy Independence Day. (A little early.) I put up some new photos. I've been messing around with my camera and taking pictures at night. I've been setting the ISO as low as it will go, using aperture mode and letting the camera do its thing. June 8, 2011 I finally added an archive of all the photos that have been on here the last couple of years. The link is at the bottom of the page. May 7, 2011 It's been two months since the last update so that means a photo change is in order. This time around it is Plates. They play gnarly punk rock and are from Buffalo. The band was at BJ's in Fredonia at the end of April for BJ's Fest. March 7, 2011 The new photographs are of Dirt Eyes. They are from Buffalo and played a basement in Fredonia this past Friday. They make some good rumbling noise. January 8, 2011 Happy New Year. (A week late.) The new photos are of Snowing from when they played Fredonia in August 2010. It was the last show at LGHQ, a fine house that saw many a touring and local band rock the living room. Also one of the photos in this set is of the singer/guitarist from Glocca Morra. He helped out. Enjoy. November 1, 2010 The new batch of photos are of Women playing at Mojo's in Jamestown, New York. They are from Calagry. The show took place this past October. I made the squares on the front page bigger. I really should add a photo archive. September 6, 2010 Happy Labor Day. Don't work too hard. This time around the photos are of Poverty Hymns playing at Soundlab in Buffalo, New York. The show happened in August 2010. I'll have four etchings in the Adams Art Gallery Member Show that opens this Friday. Details are to the right. July 4, 2010 Happy Independence Day. The new set of photos are the band Werewolves. They are from Athens, Georgia and played a house show in Fredonia this past March. May 25, 2010 Y'all still get to look at Crappy Dracula photos until July. I've taken plenty of photos in the last two months, but I never picked out any for an update. I finally got rid of the rollover GIF on the front page and now you click on the word INFO to get to this page. It's much better. I'm thinking about adding more photos to the front page or maybe some sort of archive. We shall see if that happens. March 5, 2010 This new set of photos are of Crappy Dracula, Milwaukee's finest nautical rockers, from when they played the Vets Club in Dunkirk, New York last September. You really need to pick up a copy of their album called Almost. The cover art is amazing. And the music ain't bad either. I've got two etchings in a show, too. January 3, 2010 Happy New Year. The new photos are of Parts & Labor from October 2007. They played at Soundlab in Buffalo, New York. December 23, 2009 Happy holidays. I made some changes to this page and cleaned up a few things. I'm going to have new pictures up soon. October 31, 2009 Happy Halloween. You get to look at Wolf Eyes photos for the next two months. These are from an October 2007 stop at Soundlab in Buffalo, New York. I'm going to make a few minor changes to the website in the next month or two. It will stay the same four photo format, but I'm going to change this page around and get rid of the rollover on the front page. I hate that thing. |
